This is my first attempt at making a fursuit. If the head turns out the way I like, then I will be making at least a partial suit and hopefully a full body suit with padding. If I end up making a body suit, I do plan on making digi-grade legs. I forgot to mention a few tips that helped me out a lot. Packaging tape seemed to work well for making the patterns because it doesn't stick to the foam well, but it does stick to itself. It is really thin, so you will need to build up 2 or more layers to get an accurate contour of the base. When I cut the patterns off so that I could trace them to the fur, it helped me to use only ONE pattern for both left and right (IE. Use the left muzzle pattern for both left and right), you will just have trace one side, and flip it over for the opposite side. This seemed to keep the fur pieces really symmetrical which is very important on the head. I hope that makes sense! More to come, and sorry for the quality of the vid... I took it with my I-pad. Here is my furaffinity page http://www.furaffinity.net/user/apari/ If you thumbs down this video then... I still love you because I love haters! =]
